Projetc Amazon Micro-axis

The Project Amazon Micro-axis dealt with the strategic planning of the transportation and logistics infrastructure for cargo and passengers in the states of the Legal Amazon (Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins), identifying and prioritizing main infrastructure projects to be implemented in each state, which are necessary to supply and dispose of local production and passenger traffic, increasing the competitiveness of these states in the regional, national and global context, and complementing with transport logistics of each state (Micrologistics) the works carried out by the North Competitive Project.

The project was an initiative of the Superintendency for the Development of the Amazon (SUDAM) and was supported and developed by the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), the Federal University of the West of Pará (UFOPA) and the FADESP in Pará.
