Update of the market study and economic viability in the project of Nova Transnordestina railway (TLSA) operation resulting from the change of it´s implementation scope for the “inverted L” scope.
Update of the market study carried out in 2015 for cargoes considered strategic (grains, bran, fertilizers, iron ore, cement, gypsum/plaster, fuels and containers) with potential for movement through the Nova Transnordestina Project, evaluating the volumes for each cargo studied handled, the geographical distribution of production, the expected growth in volumes handled, among other important factors for defining the current and future cargo handling potential of the new railway. Assessment of the origin-destination matrix and total logistical costs for each alternative, in order to estimate which loads have the greatest economic potential for the Nova Transnordestina Project and which respective volumes will be moved by the new railway. Economic-financial feasibility study for discussion with BNDES.
