Strategic planning of transport infrastructure and regional freight logistics in the states of the Northeast Region (Projeto Nordeste Competitivo)

Strategic planning of transport infrastructure and regional freight logistics in the Northeast (AL, BA, CE, MA, PE, PI, RN and SE), involving a detailed study of the logistics productive chain and the current and projected Origin-Destiny Matrix from the cargo handling of 65 strategic selected products, belonging to the 18 most relevant productive chains in the region. The study also dealt with the detailed infrastructure of 58 regional logistics corridors covering all modes of transportation (highways, railways, waterways, pipelines, ports and port terminals, airports and warehouses), the identification of the main logistics bottlenecks and logistics costs of cargo handling and analysis of 195 relevant infrastructure projects, identifying priority projects for implementation.
